Publication’s Ethics

IRJIC does not accept any form of plagiarism or use of any material -both published or unpublished- or ideas of another writer or author without acknowledging the original source. By submitting articles, the authors are asserting that their research and scholarly contributions are entirely original and the works of other scholars, when used, are appropriately recognised through quotation and right attribution.

Peer Review Policy

Manuscripts submitted to IRJIC go through an internal review and if they meet the basic requirements, they are sent out for double blind review from experts in the field, either from the editorial board or identified reviewers. Comments from the external reviewers are sent to the authors and they are notified of the journal’s decision (acceptance, acceptance with revisions, rejection). This entire review process will take anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks after submission of the manuscript. Reviewers can recommend to author/s any related work that is not cited. IRJIC uses a double-blind system for peer review; the identities of both reviewers and authors remain anonymous.

The International Research Journal of Islamic Civilization (IRJIC) is visualised as an academic and scientific publication devoted to articles and other informed studies on Islamic civilization.  The comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach of IRJIC is aimed at formulating new theories and proposing new discourses in relation to the study of Islamic civilization in its diverse features, in the form of its historical, intellectual and cultural manifestations.
